Explore Tap is a fun and engaging class for kids and teens who enjoy making music with their feet. This non-performance class introduces the basics of tap dance in a relaxed and supportive environment where students can build skills, confidence, and coordination at their own pace.
Through simple steps and rhythmic exercises, dancers explore how sound and movement work together. This class encourages musicality, listening skills, and creative expression—all while having fun and staying active.
In this class, dancers will:
Learn foundational tap steps like shuffles, time steps, and simple turns
Explore rhythm, timing, and sound through music-based movement
Practice short combinations and exercises that build coordination and control
Build confidence in a positive, non-competitive environment
